Summary
WITH regard to Rowan Moore's robust arguments against the Live Site programme (These screens are one big turn-off, 11 November): a large number of towns and cities all over the UK have expressed an interest in having a screen. We help fund the installation; the city itself takes on the upkeep and works with the BBC on the content shown. We do not force cities to put them up and after 2012 we do not leave any significant funding gap.
