OFF-LICENCE chain Unwins has collapsed with debts of more than Pounds 35 million, putting 2,000 jobs at risk. The group, which has 380 stores, has been placed into administration after bank HBOS pulled the plug last night.
Administrator KPMG is hoping to come up with a buyer for the business quickly, with Wine Cellar and the group behind Oddbins among potential buyers. Fears have also arisen over missing cash in staff pension plans.See the full content of this document
