A CHILDREN'S nurse working at Great Ormond Street has been struck off for ignoring a baby's emergency alarm.

Nicola Waterfall, from north London, silenced the alarm on the heart monitor of a six-month-old boy so she could continue talking to the parents of another patient. The case comes days after the hospital was heavily criticised over its handling of the Baby P case.
