JOHN CROWTHER left the Lawn Tennis Association yesterday after failing to produce a Wimbledon champion despite having Pounds 300million to spend in his nine years as chief executive.
Crowther left by mutual agreement and will be replaced by Roger Draper, the current chief executive of Sport England, who will take up his role on 3 April.
