SCOTT NICHOL, one of the two NHL players who has recently joined London Racers, is leaving the club to return to Chicago after an emergency involving his youngest child, writes Paul Fielder.

The Canadian, who played five games for the Racers, scoring one goal and picking up four assists, said: "It's been a great experience and I will cherish my time here. The management, coach and guys in the locker room have been fantastic but I had to make a tough decision and family always comes first.
