IN RELATION to your headline Stop breastfeeding at four months, warns food writer (West End final edition, 24 January) and the warning that "breast milk does not contain enough essential nutrients", I would like to make clear that I wholeheartedly support breast feeding and have never claimed that mothers should stop at four months.
I have always advised in my books that breast or formula milk should provide all the nutrients that a baby needs for the first six months of life.See the full content of this document
