QI am in my late fifties, but am fortunate that my face and body look good for my age. However, my hands make me look ancient; they are large, bony and scrawny and make me desperately self-conscious. What can I do?
A Hands are like most other parts of the body and, when you lose fat after a certain age, the skin in that area becomes tired and slack. However, there are procedures for the determined whereby your own fat can be harvested from an area where you have some to spare (ie, your bottom or thighs) and then injected in places you'd prefer it. I have a friend who recently had her hands treated with fat injections and they are now beautiful, white and youthful - the procedure has perked up her whole look and confidence amazingly.
