A MURDERED elderly couple lay undiscovered for four days despite police officers knocking on their front door twice. It is thought Terry and Vera Martin, in their mid seventies, were killed after burglars tricked their way into their home in Faversham, Kent.

Their car was found burned out in nearby woods. The bodies were discovered when a relative called at the house yesterday.
