ZIMBABWE opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai was arrested today when armed riot police stormed his party's headquarters in the capital Harare.

Dozens of police surrounded the main office of the Movement for Democratic Change shortly before Mr Tsvangirai was to hold a press conference to highlight the latest abuses by president Robert Mugabe's regime.
