HATS off to my colleague Antonia Cox, long-time leader writer of the Evening Standard, who has been selected by the Conservative party to fight Islington South and Finsbury at the next general election. Currently Labour MP Emily Thornberry holds the seat on a waferthin majority. In 2005 Thornberry claimed 39.9 per cent of the vote, her Lib-Dem opponent was on 38.3 per cent.
