HOMES GOSSIP months of house-hunting, City tycoon Stuart Rose (right) has found a London home suitable for his status as Marks Spencer chief executive. He has paid Pounds 2.15 million through John D Wood for a three-bedroom early-Victorian house in Belgravia.
"The house is immaculate," reports a neighbour. "It belonged to the Sixties model Pauline Stone, who did it up beautifully." Rose, worth an estimated Pounds 30 million, previously had a London pied- a-terre.
