FORMER Desperate Housewives star Dougray Scott refuses to join the media herd and settle in overpriced Notting Hill or Belsize Park. Instead, he and his new wife, actress Claire Forlani, have got more bang for their buck by buying near the river in Hammersmith, where three-bedroom houses cost from [pounds]750,000 to [pounds]1.2 million.
The rugged, Fife-born James Bond wannabe previously lived in the area with his first wife, casting agent Sarah Trevis, and their twins, Gabriel and Eden.
