The former Who wild boy Pete Townshend has sold his two-bedroom Cornish retreat for Pounds 850,000 through Miller Countrywide. The Mawnan Smith barn conversion, set in 54 acres, includes outbuildings, paddocks, a guest cottage and a yacht berth at nearby Falmouth marina.
The Isleworth-born rock star's main home remains The Wick, a Pounds 10 million Georgian mansion in Richmond Hill, Surrey, formerly owned by Sir Joshua Reynolds, Sir John Mills and Ronnie Wood. He shares it with his partner Rachel Fuller, a classically trained pianist and singer. In July The Who will play a rare set alongside Razorlight and Primal Scream as part of the Hyde Park Calling festival.See the full content of this document
