MAN Group, the world's largest hedge fund manager, said funds under management had risen from $38.4 billion (Pounds 20.4 billion) to $42 billion in the past three months. Man said it had raised $2.2 billion through 10 new private investor funds. Private investors now hold $24.5 billion of the funds while institutions have $17.5 billion.
