STEEL magnate Lakshmi Mittal has called on Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to take up the cudgels on his behalf in a meeting with French President Jacques Chirac in New Delhi today.
Speaking in the Indian capital, where London-based Mittal was attending a private function, he said that he wanted Singh to raise Mittal's proposed e18.6 billion (Pounds 12.8 billion) takeover of Luxembourg's Arcelor Steel as it involved the future of India's business globally.See the full content of this document
