THE DECISION by the Army not to send Prince Harry to Iraq is sensible although it has, understandably, been badly received by families whose own sons have died in the conflict. It was always clearly going to be dangerous for the Prince to be deployed in Basra

and indeed for the men under his command. A posting to a less volatile area, which, as we report today, is being considered, would be far more appropriate.
