BILL GATES will be amused to hear that two of his vanquished rivals in the "browser wars" of the late 1990s have suffered further injury this time as property developers.

Jim Clark and Tom Jermoluk decided five years ago to build condos in Miami on the back of making a few dollars from Netscape, the rival to Microsoft's Internet Explorer. Well, what the hell? And that of course is exactly what their property company, Hyperion Development, is suffering.
