With regard to your feature on the millions being spent housing the homeless by various councils across London, I am a private landlord with a tenant on housing benefit who owes me more than [pounds]5,000. It has taken me months to get her out of the property and I've been told I'm unlikely to get the arrears paid and probably won't be able to enforce any order against her because she doesn't earn enough. Will she now get a bigger contribution to her rent or entirely free housing?
