Summary
Dr Glackin may be right in his view that it is better and safer for parents to be cared for at home by their GPs. Unfortunately, for those of us who live in Haringey, where the primary care trust is hell-bent on destroying the local GP system, the choice will be between large, impersonal and clinically dirty hospitals, and large, impersonal and clinically dirty polyclinics.
