Summary
As Charlotte Ross observes, the fact Kate McCann has not cried means nothing. I was with my daughter when she died suddenly and unexpectedly aged 13, but I didn't cry then or later. I was focused on attempting to resuscitate her, my family's wellbeing, arranging her funeral. I became ill and later developed a tumour in my head. By contrast, my husband cried for years afterwards. We have little control over our reaction to grief. The McCanns need the support of good, sens sible people.
