LORD TEBBIT ripped into the Today programme's Naughtie live on air, implying the Beeb had kept him off the peak-hour slot and prevented him from speaking for David Davis on Monday. Stung by claims that he was biased towards David Cameron, Naughtie hit back hard, pointing out a Today focus group backing Davis had indeed been aired in prime time. Tebbit went on to list Government ills including more teen pregnancies. But it was too late.
