Summary
THE opposition leader said Brown was "desperate to go on a borrowing binge" and found an old quote where the PM said unfunded tax cuts meant rises to come. "Does he even agree with himself ?" he asked a jibe that worked on TV but was drowned out in the Commons by heckling. Brown was on unstoppable form, though. He branded the Tories the "do nothing party" and said they were blocking help for families. Cameron scored an own goal by quoting ex-No 10 man Derek Scott a long-gone figure.
