Cameron and Brown oozed animosity. For the last PMQs before the summer recess, the Tory leader was unusually rude, saying: "I said he was useless a year ago and I have not changed my mind." When he next urged voters "to get rid of this useless Prime Minister" it looked like a planned campaign to undermine the PM's authority. Brown fought back with noisy support from Labour MPs.
