Gordon Brown v David Cameron Ground: PMQs Kick-off: Noon

Cameron and Brown oozed animosity. For the last PMQs before the summer recess, the Tory leader was unusually rude, saying: "I said he was useless a year ago and I have not changed my mind." When he next urged voters "to get rid of this useless Prime Minister" it looked like a planned campaign to undermine the PM's authority. Brown fought back with noisy support from Labour MPs. He accused Cameron of "running away" from big decisions and lacking substance. But, with fiascos over knife crime, car tax and MPs' expenses, Cameron could not lose..
