A MAN who stole a cheque was described by the victim as a lowlife in Dannevirke District Court this week. Teepa Kirikiri, 20, of Dannevirke opened an envelope that had been sent to someone else. Inside was a cheque for $400. Kirikiri took the cheque and cashed it, the court was told.
