THE Lloyd's insurance market may be seeing its members up sticks to Bermuda at a rate of knots, but today it reported flat half-year profits despite declining returns on investment income.
That meant actual profits on underwriting ahead of this time last year. Its combined ratio, the standard industry measure of profitability, was 86%, meaning it paid out Pounds 86 in claims for every Pounds 100 in premiums.See the full content of this document
