LABOUR was being crushed in early council election results today - - confronting dozens of the party's MPs with the prospect of losing their seats in the general election.
Conservatives and Liberal Democrats had a good night, with the former winning newlycreated Central Bedfordshire council and taking extra seats in Lincolnshire, while the third party seized control of Bristol.See the full content of this document
