ENGLAND were back on a roll at their favourite ground today, bidding to take control of the npower Second Test despite a strong start by New Zealand. But after winning four of their past five matches here, Michael Vaughans men had to bide their time while openers Jamie How and Aaron Redmond put together a stand of 80 to justify Daniel Vettoris decision to bat first on a lively pitch.
