THAT grey coat looks more suitable for the office. But Jose Mourinho may just as well have been wearing a rock star's jumpsuit as he celebrated his team's historic victory at Stamford Bridge. The man who has transformed London soccer leapt around the pitch in a bravura performance, at one point swinging an arm in the windmill style of Pete Townshend of The Who.

The first sight of Mourinho in the tunnel revealed that he was wearing his beautifully cut overcoat again. Unlike most apparel worn for a big sporting occasion, his coat does not have its maker's name embroidered on the breast or back. I suspect, however, that the tailor responsible is retiring to bed with a feeling of a job well done. Particularly if Jose has more than one.
