WOULDN'T you have loved to see Peter Kenyon's face today on picking up the morning papers. In one, there were the words of the Chelsea chief executive himself, outlining the urgent need for his club to banish their "rebel" image in their bid to conquer the footballing world.

Flick a page and Kenyon could then find the latest intemperate rant by his manager, accusing one of his major rivals of being a "voyeur" who was obsessed with Chelsea, maybe had a sickness and was perhaps even after his job. While Jose Mourinho is at the helm, he must have thought, how can they ever lose that rebellious tag?
