THE SIMMERING feud between Gordon Ramsay and ITV over his defection to Channel 4 is boiling over. I hear ITV bosses are so irate with the indomitable Scottish chef that they have pulled the plug on his forthcoming appearance on the primetime ITV chat show Parkinson.
Ramsay initially annoyed ITV panjandrums by refusing to film another series of Hell's Kitchen citing the time factor - the first series of the show, which at its peak attracted eight million viewers, was on air every night for two weeks and Ramsay spent a week preparing for it. Having spurned the channel's overtures, Ramsay infuriated them further by indiscreetly disclosing that two "superchefs" had been brought in to replace him.See the full content of this document
