TWO female relatives of Iraqi prime minister Ayad Allawi who were kidnapped in Baghdad last Tuesday have been released, it emerged today.
Mr Allawi's cousin, Ghazi Allawi, 75, was snatched with his wife and pregnant daughter-in law. The women were freed yesterday but there is no word of Ghazi Allawi, said a spokesman for the prime minister. The Ansar al-Jihad militant group had threatened to behead the three unless the Fallujah siege ended.See the full content of this document
