Monday It wasn't a great start to the week. I went to a flat in Golders Green to make an inventory following the tenants' departure that I knew I'd find flooded.
The people who lived downstairs had called the landlord to complain that water was dripping through their ceiling. The outgoing tenants had left the property with water turned off at the mains but had not realised that the kitchen tap had been left turned on.
