Humbug! Architect's Tate Exhibit Opens New Gateway

Summary


London PLANS to transform the Thames Gateway form part of an exhibition that opens at Tate Modern tomorrow.

Architects Zaha Hadid and Nigel Coates have produced separate proposals for the 40- mile stretch of land in east London. Coates has created a model using objects such as mint humbugs, cotton reels, alarm clocks and dinner plates to represent homes and businesses.
