HEATHROW is a "national scandal" which is damaging Britain's reputation as a centre for tourism and business, former chancellor Lord Lamont said today.
In a scathing attack on London's premier airport, Lord Lamont said it was "undoubtedly the grubbiest" he had visited. He added that BAA should be stripped of its monopoly control of Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted.See the full content of this document
