Summary
2.20 Having dropped back to a more realistic handicap mark, Taffy Salaman's FINAL VERSE started showing his best form again last autumn and may be worth chancing in a tight-knit handicap on his seasonal debut. Unbeaten Riggins, trained by Luca Cumani, is still unexposed and could be worth following this summer if he learns from his two outings to date.
2.55 John Gosden's HEADLINE ACT was disappointing when well fancied at Chester last time in a race won by Braveheart Move. His jockey, Jimmy Fortune, gave ground away by going wide around the tight track which was all the more galling, since the colt had not been badly treated by the handicapper having previously won at Leicester. A return to this more conventional course will see him in a better light. Though workmanlike when landing the odds at Salisbury, Roger Charlton's Clowance House has ability and is worth considering on his handicap debut.See the full content of this document
