THE family of one of the youngest prisoners ever held at Guantanamo plans to sue the US government over his alleged mistreatment, his lawyers said today.

Mohammed Jawad, who is believed to have been 12 when he was arrested in his native Afghanistan and is now claimed to be 19, also wants compensation for his lost adolescence, his lawyer said.
