Summary
FILM DIRECTOR Anthony Minghella and his wife Carolyn (pictured far left) and Imogen Stubbs (left) were among the stars at the British Museum for a party to mark the London Film Festival's opening, which saw the premiere of Mike Leigh's new film, Vera Drake.
Minghella, who is the chair of the British Film Institute, enthused about the festival "embracing movies from more than 60 countries", before confessing that his own viewing habits are not always highbrow. "I've just come back from LA and have Portsmouth's win over Spurs on tape," he explained. "That's one of the things I'm looking forward to enjoying."See the full content of this document
