GIRLS under 16 may be allowed to buy the morning-after pill at chemists without a prescription in the wake of new Government health guidelines.
The Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS) said that fresh guidance allowing teenagers access to advice on abortion without parental consent could also apply to the overthecounter pill. The so-called Gillick Judgment in the House of Lords in 1986, paved the way for GPs to counsel girls without having to tell their parents.See the full content of this document
