ANDREW GILLIGAN had to make a famous exit from the BBC in the wake of Lord Hutton's report, alongside DG Greg Dyke and chairman Gavyn Davies, but now his words have been immortalised in sweet compensation.

"Sex something up," the phrase he used on Today and which came to have such farreaching consequences, is one of 2,000 new additions to the latest edition of the Concise Oxford Dictionary, out today.
