A FORMER Ofsted chief has been accused of "poaching" state pupils for his private schools.

Chris Woodhead, who plans 50 cut-price independent schools with his company Cognita, has told parents they can save Pounds 25,000 in fees if they send a child to Akeley Wood, Bucks, at the age of eight.
