FEATHERS flew a few months ago when Peter York launched a new Sloane Ranger book without giving sufficient credit to Ann Barr, his co writer and editor at Harpers & Queen who devised the idea more than 30 years ago.
Now I hear of another little spat involving the authors of The Official Foodie Handbook, written by Ann Barr and Paul Levy, Oxford ex-academic and food writer, in 1984.
