IAN McGEECHAN and Gareth Jenkins, two coaches who emerged unscathed from the disastrous Lions tour to New Zealand, will put their friendship to one side on Sunday as they chase Heineken Cup glory.

McGeechan, the London Wasps director of rugby, and Jenkins, who holds the same position with Llanelli Scarlets, were in charge of the unbeaten Lions midweek team and built a relationship that has continued during this domestic season.
