THE Forge, in pretty Lamberhurst in Kent, also known as Rock House, is divided in three at the moment, writes Matthew Slocombe.
The Grade II-listed, early 19th century building, with its distinctive sandstone front, has had a commercial use on its ground floor. This included a Matthew Slocombe is deputy secretary at the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings.
