A FATHER who left his six-week old baby alone in a seafront car park while he went drinking had his jail term reduced on appeal today.

Robin Spandler was branded the "most foolish father in Britain", as a judge cut his sentence from 75 days to 60. He had taken his daughter Lily on a late-night drive in order to rock her to sleep on 20 July but then left her alone in his locked Jaguar for up to three hours while he went for a drink in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk.
