THE Government today ordered drugs by GlaxoSmithKline and Roche as it doubled its stockpile of anti-flu pandemic medicines.
Britain's Glaxo, the world's second-largest pharmaceutical company, is supplying 10.6 million courses of Relenza, its anti-flu treatment, while Swiss firm Roche is providing a further 7.4 million doses of Tamiflu. The drugs will be ready by April, giving the Department of Health enough treatment for half of all Britons.See the full content of this document
