SAINSBURY'S enjoyed buoyant trading during the festive season as shoppers splurged on top-end foods in its SO organic and Taste the Difference ranges. Sales from stores a year or more old were up 5.2% in the 12 weeks to 31 December. In Christmas week, Sainsbury's supermarkets served a record of more than 19 million shoppers.
