Summary


IHAD high expectations of what a Lions tour would be like but they have been exceeded. To lose the three-game series was devastating but we showed the spirit in the squad by fighting back to win the final Test at Ellis Park, one of the hardest places to play.

Just to pull on the famous red shirt was an honour but to be picked for the First Test was the proudest day of my life. I experienced how tough sport can be, though, when I was tackled twice when I had a great chance to score and then dropped for the Second Test.
