Host Ewan McGregor looked dashing in his family tartan and sporran for Burns Night at St Martins Lane hotel. The bagpiper charmed guests, including Leo Gregory and Ruby Wax, who still dinna ken whether Ewan wore any underwear. The jolly, also organised by Sharleen Spiteri and Lady Helen Taylor, raised Pounds 100,000 for CLIC Sargent and CHAS (Children's Hospice Association Scotland). More than a wee dram of Macallan whisky cocktail was drunk as honorary Scots, including Sol Campbell and Bryan Ferry, tucked into haggis, neeps and tatties. Och aye, it was a burning affair.
