SHELL has ended its 10-month search for a new chairman with the surprise appointment of Jorma Ollila who announced on Monday that he is stepping down as executive chairman and chief executive of Nokia, the world's largest mobile phone maker.
Ollila, 54, will take over from Aad Jacobs in June next year and will be paid Pounds 500,000 a year for the non-executive role which requires him to work at Shell's Hague headquarters two or three days a week.See the full content of this document
