SVEN-GORAN ERIKSSON was in crunch talks with his Football Association bosses today as pressure grew on the Swede to quit immediately after the World Cup.
Although Eriksson has a Pounds 4.8million-a-year contract lasting until 2008, the FA want to reach an agreement for him to stand down after the finals in Germany this summer, regardless of England's performance.See the full content of this document
